Tonight, you are going on a date with an individual who you swiped right on Tinder. An amicable and maybe a little superficial chat followed and you now know that they’re really into the local craft beer scene.
They’re adorable and totally your type. You want to impress them to score a second date and maybe more.
Take them to any of the following places for the win! You’re welcome.
Specializing in barrel-aged craft beer, this Brunswick Street brewery has 12 taps, including a few sours that will knock your socks off. Non-beer lovers can grab a can of Chain Yard cider or a house wine. There’s no snack menu, but it’s totally cool to bring your own food to soak up the suds.
This Gottingen Street location has been home to the Propeller Brewing Company since it began in 1997. Visit the retail space, book a brewery tour or hang out at the newest cool spot in town—the ultra-cool Propeller Arcade Room: arcade machines, pinball and beer, in the basement.
A full-service, farm-to-table restaurant offering sizeable lunch and dinner menus, with a full-on brewing operation coming soon, Church Brewing is housed inside, well, you guessed it—a church. But not just any church, a beautiful circa-1914 stone church on Main Street in picturesque downtown Wolfville.
Tidehouse gives new meaning to the terms “small batch” and “micro-brewery.” With only six taps and nine seats, this tiny brewery tucked away on Salter street is a hidden treasure. Its beers? A daring collection of “what will they think of next?” Squeeze up to the bar and stay awhile.
Burnside is gaining a reputation as a great place to eat and drink, thanks in no small part to this huge bar, brewery and restaurant, with a clean modern décor and plenty of room for everyone. A small arcade and a shuffleboard table add to the fun. Arrive hungry!
